The exhibition Tillsammans genom tiden at Historiska museet covers three rooms and was created over a period of only six months. A team of nearly 30 people worked together to design an interactive experience with well-chosen objects. Parts of Swedish Television’s giant programme 'History of Sweden' take place in what was previously an empty passage between exhibition rooms. The film is projected onto the elongated walls, creating an immersive film experience with dramatic music and natural sounds.
In the next room, a bustling and welcoming marketplace contrasts with the quieter film experience. The tangible and the human encounter are in focus and can be expressed in written words by the visitors. A large wooden table forms the centre of the room, like a dining table in an extended family.
